Restore and rehabilitate school sanitary facilities
For the third year in a row, St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee continues to implement projects to restore and rehabilitate sanitary facilities under cash-for-work projects to renovate the external facilities of schools in rural Quneitra, to create a healthy, safe, and secure environment for students.
These projects are being implemented before the start of the academic year with all responsibility so that schools are ready to receive students. Mr. Hisham Saad, Executive Director of EPDC, accompanied by an administrative team, visited Al-Shahid Hani Koueider and Al-Sahid Khaled Mahmoud Schools, and inspected the restoration work that had been carried out for sanitary facilities according to SPHERE international standards.
He also met with the women and men who restored the schools’ external facilities, including courtyards, fences, painting, landscaping, and others, within the cash-for-work project, thanking them for their great efforts in these projects, especially since these schools include their children and the children of their towns.
