Protection activities in shelters

“I‘m good at solving mathematical equations and I feel immense joy when I reach the correct solution. I love the lessons that I attend with the team from St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC), and I always look forward to their visits to our shelter center.”
This is what one of the girls living with her family in one of the shelter centers in Aleppo said since their house was destroyed in the earthquake on February 6th until now.
The protection program team visits the shelter centers and provides psychosocial support sessions, and awareness about mental and psychological health, and engages children in various interactive and meaningful activities. They also offer case management services and sessions for the parents of the children.
