Social awareness session – Idleb rural

Continuing to connect with various service authorities in the town of Khan Sheikhoun in Rural Idlib, the Shams Centre team visited the town’s dispensary and met with the health director and officials of the town to coordinate cooperation between them and to arrange periodic visits to the clinic by the project team against gender-based violence to provide social awareness sessions and psychological support to the people.

The team also met with the people within the dispensary. It introduced them to the services of the Shams Centre and encouraged the women to visit the center and learn about the project’s activities.

Coordination was also made with the reproductive health officer to arrange periodic visits to the Shams Center and provide medical consultations for women and adolescents and health education and awareness sessions about reproductive health.
