St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) hosts the shelter & NFI sectors team with the new SNFI coordinator in Syria

The SNFI sectors team in Syria, accompanied by the new senior coordinator, Mr. Mahamat AlHadi Ibrahim Yaya, visited the office of the St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC) in Damascus and met with the administrative team and the programs team in the presence of the Executive Director of EPDC, Mr. Hisham Saad.

The humanitarian services and projects implemented by the EPDC during the previous years in the shelter sector and non-food distributions NFI were presented, such as winterization distributions of heaters, Tamez, and winterization clothes, in many areas of our country, Syria, and relief work and emergency response to the February 2023 earthquake

EPDC described the rehabilitation projects of shelters, apartments and schools in many areas in Syria.

The Group appreciated the work of the Relief and Development of EPDC in this and other sectors, the considerable efforts to overcome challenges and difficulties, the responsibility to provide services to those who deserve them, and the best implementation of the project’s objectives.
