Visit Dar Al Raha for the Elderly – Lattakia

An initiative by the Patriarchal Committee of Mar Aphrem the Syrian for Development to visit the elderly in the Dar Al Raha in Lattakia on the occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration.

On the occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration, and out of the keenness of the Patriarchal Committee of Mar Aphrem the Syrian for Development to implement community initiatives for different groups and ages in our local community, and because the elderly are a blessing to us and a good example from whose many experiences and expertise we learn, the Lattakia office team visited the Dar Al Raha for the Elderly.

The team met with them and spent an enjoyable time with them full of purposeful and entertaining activities that brought back memories of the old city and the bygone days, and candles and grapes were distributed on the occasion of the Feast of the Transfiguration, wishing them and everyone health, wellness and peace.
