Visit to Shams Centre in Khan Sheikhoun, Rural Idlib

Visit of Bishop Mor Boutros Kassis to Shams Centre in Khan Sheikhoun, Rural Idlib.

His Eminence Mor Boutros Kassis, Metropolitan of Aleppo and its environs, and General manager of St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC), visited the Shams_Center in Khan Sheikhoun in Rural_Idlib and met with the center’s team that is implementing the project to combat gender-based violence GBV, in cooperation with the Norwegian Church Aid Organization NCA.

His Eminence the Bishop was briefed on the project’s services and its positive impact on the local community, especially women and girls in Khan Sheikhoun and the surrounding villages.

He listened to the challenges, giving his guidance to the team, encouraging them to continue working with responsibility to provide our humanitarian development services in the best possible way to our people and to society and emphasizing the preservation of the human dignity of the beneficiaries.
