EPDC cooperation with ALIPH.

A delegation from the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage (#ALIPH) visited the headquarters of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East, where they met with His Eminence Archbishop Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education.

The delegation included Dr. Valérie Fréland, ALIPH’s Executive Director, and an administrative team working on the foundation’s projects in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and the Middle East. Present at the meeting were Engineer Hisham Saad, the Executive Director of St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee #EPDC, along with an administrative team from EPDC.

The meeting discussed the restoration and reinforcement project for buildings damaged by the February 2023 earthquake in Crack Des Chevaliers, which EPDC is implementing with support and cooperation from ALIPH.

The meeting also focused on the project’s progress and plans for future collaboration on national heritage preservation projects.
