ZOA Visits the Shams Center – Arbeen

A Delegation from ZOA Visits the Shams Center in Irbeen, Rural Damascus

A delegation from the management of the Dutch organization ZOA visited the Shams Center in Irbeen, in Rural Damascus. They were accompanied by a team from the St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee #EPDC, with the presence of Mr. Hisham Saad, the Executive Director of EPDC, who welcomed them along with the center’s team.

The delegation toured the various departments of the center, where a project on combating gender-based violence is being implemented.

They also visited the section offering free medical clinics.

The delegation listened to the center’s volunteers and discussed the importance of the gender-based violence prevention project in Irbeen and surrounding areas, as well as the significance of promoting social awareness. The volunteers shared effective methods and strategies for addressing challenges and spreading a positive impact. The delegation expressed its admiration for the center and the services it provides, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation to implement plans.
