– In partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), our field teams implemented an emergency intervention to address the food needs of children displaced to Al-Hasakeh Governorate. Teams reached shelter centers and distributed fortified food, aiming to enhance food security for children affected by displacement.
– As part of the ongoing response to the needs of displaced families in Al-Hasakeh Governorate due to the current conditions, our teams, in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), distributed non-food items (NFIs) following a direct needs assessment.
The distributed items included: insulation materials, blankets, foam mattresses, winter clothing kits, kitchen kits, winter coats, lighting lamps, and water containers.
The distribution covered the following shelter centers:
Al-Hasakeh City:

Qamishli City:
Ain Jalout School – Hassan Mahmoud School – Zain Al-Abidin Mosque.
In addition to Newroz_Camp in the rural area of Al-Malikiyah.
– Our teams also carried out another emergency intervention to meet the needs of families displaced from neighborhoods of Aleppo to Ar-Raqqa Governorate and Tabqa City, in partnership with UNHCR.
This intervention was preceded by a direct field assessment of families’ needs, followed by the distribution of non-food items according to each family’s requirements. The items included: insulation materials, blankets, foam mattresses, winter clothing kits, kitchen kits, coats, solar lighting lamps, and water containers.
This intervention comes as part of ongoing efforts to meet the urgent needs of displaced families and strengthen their ability to cope with harsh displacement conditions and cold weather, stemming from our humanitarian commitment to stand alongside those affected and to turn compassion into action.
