Installation of a solar energy system for Al-Mseifra borehole

The completion of the installation of a #solar_energy system for #Al_Mseifra borehole in #Rural_Daraa.

St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (#EPDC), completed the rehabilitation works and installation of a solar energy system for #Al_Mseifra borehole in Rural Daraa.

EPDC team handed over the borehole to the water unit and back in service for the town residents, In the presence of the mayor and a representative from the General Corporation for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Daraa Governorate.

Approximately 4,000 people will benefit from the rehabilitation of #Al_Mseifra_borehole, which was implemented by the team of St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (#EPDC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Water Resources and the General Corporation for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Daraa Governorate.

A certificate of appreciation was presented to EPDC on behalf of the Local community for its efforts and keenness to implementing important development projects by rehabilitating boreholes and securing a safe and sustainable water source to meet their daily needs for drinking water and many other uses.

Renewable energy, especially solar energy, is considered an environmentally friendly source that meets the essential needs for improving safe access to water, even during prolonged power outages.
