Response to Displacement from Lebanon to Syria – 2

From productive charity projects to hosting centers, EPDC launched missions to deliver urgent needs for families arriving from Lebanon to Syria.

Our Executive Director Eng. Hisham Saad participated in the visit to Al-Harjalah hosting center in rural Damascus and met with the center’s managemnet to stay informed about the latest news and needs, especially with the continuous increase in arriving families. He also joined volunteers in distributing 950 ready-to-eat meals and water bottles to those residing in the center.

The team also organized recreational and interactive activities for children, including singing activities and sports competitions.

As families continue to arrive at the hosting centers, EPDC is ramping up its efforts alongside partners and donors to cover urgent needs and prepare for the coming days, especially with winter approaching and the essential needs that come with it.
