In an important step towards protecting our children and raising awareness about the dangers of war remnants, the Community Protection Project team continues to carry out awareness sessions in the schools of the towns of Al-Masmiyah, Al-Shaara and Al-Baraq in #Rural_Daraa.
These sessions aim to educate students about the risks of explosive remnants of war, their various forms, and the proper ways to report them when encountered during play or in the fields. Additionally, sessions on #PSHEA (Protection from Sexual Harassment, Exploitation, and Abuse) are held to raise awareness about the types of harassment and the reporting methods in case of any suspicious incidents, as well as promoting a safe and healthy environment.
These efforts contribute to building an aware generation capable of dealing with the challenges of the post-war era, highlighting the importance of collective action to protect children’s rights and ensure their safety in the future, as well as enhancing community awareness.
