Ongoing Implementation of a Solar Power System for the Al-Taybeen Borehole in Al-Sahwah Town – Eastern Rural Daraa
The St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee EPDC continues its efforts in implementing water and sanitation projects to secure safe water sources that support local communities.
One such project is the implementation of an integrated solar power system for the Al-Taybeen borehole (formerly known as Al-Furqa) in the town of Al-Sahwah, in the eastern Rural Daraa.
This project aims to provide a sustainable and safe water source for the town’s residents and to improve their living conditions by utilizing solar energy as an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to operate the borehole pump especially amid the challenging conditions in the area and the frequent power outages.
