Restoration large water tanks
St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee in collaboration with the Norwegian Church Aid organization (NCA), is continuing efforts to implement projects that will provide water to rural areas in Hama.
The aim of the project is the repair and restoration of 2 large water tanks in the towns of Tal Skeen and Al-Rabia, which were significantly impacted by the earthquake on February 6th. This initiative is expected to benefit around 20,000 people in Al-Rabia, as well as approximately 9,000 people in Tal Skeen.
The tanks, which have capacities of 200 cubic meters each and stand at heights between 15 and 19 meters, are undergoing extensive restoration, maintenance, insulation, base reinforcement, leak repairs, part replacements, and other necessary work to ensure they continue to play a vital role in supplying water to local households.
