EPDC 2024 Annual Meeting

As a Big family united by love and responsibility in humanitarian and development work, the teams of EPDC, coming from the offices of Damascus, Aleppo, and Latakia, participated in the annual meeting for three days at the Al-Wadi Hotel in the countryside of Homs with the support and cooperation of the international organization #Tearfund and the Middle East Council of Churches (#MECC).

The team attended several important trainings, including the CHS Basic Standards for Humanitarian Work training, presented by the Programs and Partnerships manager at TearFund Syria, Ms. Diana Yazji.

This was followed by training on occupational safety procedures provided by Engineer Hisham Saad, EPDC Executive Director.

Out of its interest in providing full support to the team, in all aspects, especially mental health, psychological support training was provided by trainers specialized in psychological support, including interactive activities.

In addition to the training, the team participated in several useful enjoyable entertaining, and interactive activities to enhance effective communication links between governorate offices.

The team also visited Al-Hosn Castle and attended an introductory explanation about the castle. The team also visited the departments where EPDC is implementing the restoration project for Al-Hosn Castle.
