Facilitated by the Shams Community Center team, Graphic Design and Multimedia students engaged in awareness sessions and dialogue focusing on the concepts of gender-based violence, its root causes, and prevention strategies. The sessions aimed to empower students to leverage their academic skills for social advocacy and sustainable development.
Following the workshop, Prof. Dr. Fouad Dahdouh, Dean of the Faculty, alongside department heads and representatives from EPDC and NCA, inaugurated an exhibition showcasing 30 creative posters. The student-designed artworks addressed critical human rights and protection issues, including early marriage, harassment, and discrimination, while promoting gender equality, justice, and women’s empowerment.
The event concluded with presenting appreciation awards to the faculty administration, distributing certificates to participating students, and announcing the top 5 creative works to encourage student engagement in the humanitarian and development fields.
